Scemtec was founded in 1988. The business of Scemtec is to develop and produce innovative electronic control and measurement systems. A growing part of Scemtec's activities is related to the development and manufacturing of lighting equipment, especially with high power LEDs.
Scemtec is ISO-9001:2000 certified and is operating in accordance to VDE, KBA and ATEX requirements. The production facilities are located in Reichshof - Wehnrath, near Cologne.

Scemtec's services are conception, definition, development and production of customer specific electronics out of "one hand", thus being the ideal partner of the industry.
The strength of Scemtec is to find the optimum solution for a customer, based upon years of knowledge and experience gained.

Scemtec provides the design and manufacturing of copper-, aluminium and ceramic printed circuit boards for LUXEON® LEDs and the technology to power and colour control these boards with appropriate supply boards.

This includes the following services:
  - definition of LUXEON® LED- and control boards in cooperation with customers
  - pilot tests and series design related to thermo management
  - pilot tests and selection of lenses
  - design of control circuits and boards including bus systems and interfaces
  - CE related approvals
